Judges 7:2

Judges 7:2

Scripture:- Judges 7:2

“And the Lord said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.”

We certainly have desire to excel and reach the peak of our destiny in life. As a result of so many aspirations, people engage themselves in so many activities and businesses that are not godly, entrench by human manipulation and lack divine direction. However they ended up being burnt and spent with nothing much to show for all their efforts. As children of God we have to be different and be distinguished in order not to run our lives by human’s wisdom. Gideon had the opportunity to go to war with 32,000 men but God reduced the number to 300. Humanly speaking, this would not have been a good decision knowing that the enemy have a very large army. This is to let you know that God does not work with numbers or by human calculation but demonstrates His awesomeness in getting His children to be an achievers by His own divine guidance. Are there some endeavors in life which you have been striving with for a breakthrough in a long time? Why don’t you take a break and seek divine instruction from the Lord as regarding whether it is worth to pursue and if yes, then what should be done. God’s instruction in every venture that we undertake as children of God is important to our success and fulfillment in life. Do not entertain any fear or resistance in the process of undertaking a venture as directed by God because He knows the end from the beginning and your success is only assured in Him. The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He addeth no sorrow with it (Prov. 10:22). Cry to God today about all your worries and let Him lead and guide you. Our God is delighted in the blessings of His people. May you be a willing vessel in the hands of God for divine guidance in Jesus name.
